The Western Conference of the Association for Asian Studies (WCAAS) 2024 conference will be held in person October 11-12 at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. This year’s theme is Bridging Horizons: Local, Regional, and Global Developments in Asia. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Hyaeweol Choi, the C. Maxwell and Elizabeth M. Stanley Family and Korea Foundation Chair in Korean Studies and Chair of the Department of Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Iowa.
We welcome individual papers as well as panel proposals from faculty, independent researchers, graduate students, and faculty-mentored undergraduate students.
