The NCTA national coordinating site at University of Pittsburgh has announced that their Teacher Portal is open to teachers nationwide. You can search the Teaching Materials Database, download the lesson plans and culture notes, read the study tour blogs, and view and/or download photos in the Photo Gallery. You do not have to create an account in order to access the resources. However, if you wish to contribute to the site, you will need to request an account.
Confucian Studies Summer Institute, Center for East-West Relations - Nishan
For one month, students and scholars from around the world will live together at the Nishan Birthplace of the Sage Academy. Classes and field trips are, of course, a central part of the program, but we hope that by studying together, eating together, and talking together, participants will build lasting friendships. East China Normal University and TransChinaEdu - Graduate Research Seminar
This six-week seminar is designed to meet the standard of US graduate (or post graduates in British system) level courses. It includes two 3-credit courses: Directed Research Project on China Studies, and Classical Chinese for Researchers. These courses are intended for Graduate Students in the field of Chinese Study, such as History, Literature, Philosophy, Sociology, Religion, Education and Language, etc. Students will participate in a five-day excursion to the beautiful Jiangxi Province in South China to visit the ancient Daoist mountains Sanqingshan (三清山) and Longhushan (龙虎山), some villages and cities. Current graduate students (including those who are working on dissertation/thesis) are welcome to apply.

American Institute of Indian Studies - Language Study in India, Summer 2012
This is an intensive immersion-type language program for graduate and highly motivated undergraduate students at U.S. colleges and universities. Students applying for regular Hindi and for Sanskrit should have the equivalent of at least two years of prior classroom instruction; one year is required for applicants in Bengali, second-year Hindi and Tamil. Applicants for Urdu should have one year of Hindi or Urdu. Applicants for Punjabi, Telugu, Marathi and Malayalam may apply at all levels, including beginning. Applications for other languages will be considered.
