Research Interests

Jeanne Féaux de la Croix holds a research professorship at the University of Bern, Switzerland. As a social anthropologist, she focuses on water, energy and environmental justice issues and has also published widely on collaborative methodologies and labour.  Recent books include Environmental Humanities in Central Asia (co-edited with Beatrice Penati, forthcoming Routledge 2023) and an Anthropology Handbook (The Central Asian World, Routledge, 2023) with Madeleine Reeves. Jeanne is currently setting up a transdisciplinary team to foster environmental justice around marine renewable energy technologies on the coasts of Indonesia, Taiwan and Canada.
